Aït Benhaddou

Aït Benhaddou has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and has been used as a location in many Hollywood films including:

Prince of Persia, Gladiator, The Mummy and The Jewel of The Nile to name a few.

It is a really cool place to explore and the panoramic view from the top of the hill is outstanding. I thought it an ideal spot for a jumping picture, and the resulting shot is amazing even if i did rip my jeans… lol

Aït Benhaddou has long been deserted but was one of the major fortified cities along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech.
