Byron Bay Christmas

Christmas morning we headed to the beach and got to spend some time watching the locals surfing.

We picked a great day for it as the waves were massive, by far the biggest that we have ever seen. There was also a big crowd watch from the beach cheering on the surfers creating a great atmosphere.

In the afternoon we headed back to the beach this time armed with a picnic and a body-board

Our alternative Christmas dinner consisted of salad, turkey, ham, bread and cheeses. Not quite what we are used to but nice all the same.
