Ollantaytambo

Ollantaytambo is a town and an Inca archaeological site in southern Peru and was the royal estate of Emperor Pachacuti who conquered the region, built the town as a ceremonial centre.

It is also our final stopover point before starting the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.

The Inca ruins here are excellent and well worth the short hill climb to explore.
