To explore Singapore a little more we took a free walking tour of Chinatown. This tour was great as it gave a good insight into the how Singapore became the city it is today from the first Chinese settlers to todays modern city planning concepts.
We got to visit a couple of temples, food courts, club street and to go inside a high-rise apartment block to understand how the majority of locals live. One of the most interesting stops was an art gallery where a scale model of all of Singapore could be found.
We had lunch at a food court and tried some of the local chicken and rice, very nice.
